Congrats on Postdoc Acceptance!

The iRACE lab is excited to announce that lab member Allyson Diggins has accepted a post-doctoral fellowship position at The Bariatric and Metabolic Institute (BMI) at the Cleveland Clinic. The BMI consists of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers who provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of obesity and produce clinical research that helps guide best-practices within the field. Allyson will be involved in the assessment and treatment of individuals seeking weight loss surgery and conducting multimodal treatment for individuals obtaining medical weight management or presenting with eating disorders. Allyson will also continue her research on the role of physical activity on outcomes following weight loss surgery.

We are also excited to announce that lab member Larry E. Burrell II has accepted a post-doctoral fellowship within the Veterans Affairs San Francisco Health Care System. The Integrated Care Psychology in HIV and Liver Disease fellowship is a primarily clinical within the psychology service of the San Francisco VA. Larry plans to continue to build upon his research by exploring interventions aimed at HIV prevention and treatment adherence. He is presently completing his internship in the Behavioral Medicine track at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System and will be graduating with his PhD from the University of Florida this fall.
