iRace, Presentation

iRace travels to Tampa

Members of the iRACE laboratory traveled to Tampa for the McKnight Doctoral Fellow Conference. This conference is a multi-discipline event for junior investigators to present their latest research.  Two members of the lab were invited to participate. Allyson Diggins presented her findings on the association between physical activity and mood in Black breast cancer survivors.  Also, Larry Burrell was invited to discuss the association between Executive functioning and intravenous drug use in Black women. In addition to these student presentations Dr. Nicole Ennis also participated in the conference as a discussant.  She volunteered her time and expertise to assist graduate social-behavioral researchers in the development of an array of projects relating to health disparities.  Please join us in congratulating both Dr. Ennis for her selfless work and the students for their amazing presentations!!!
